Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 to 10 working days and delivery confirmed by way of email.

Return and Refunds policy

The provision of goods and services by Get Outdoor is subject to availability. If a customer is not satisfied with a purchase, it can be returned within 7 days of the delivery for a full refund, less the shipping costs and a restocking fee. Refunds will only be issued if products are returned unopened and with all packaging, manuals, accessories and other material, of any nature, that were part of the original purchase. Sealed products attract a 10% handling fee – should an opened product be returned, a 25% handling fee will be charged. No refund if all the accessories and manuals are not returned.

Should a product be damaged while being shipped to our offices Get Outdoor will not be liable for damages; it is recommended that you insure your products when shipping them back to us, and ensure that they are properly packaged. Get Outdoor is only responsible for first line service for all Garmin product. Please note that ALL warranty service and support queries are required to be assessed and approved by Garmin Southern Africa (“GSA”). Furthermore, any product which requires either Warranty or Repair assessment, must be sent directly to GSA.

Returns / Warranty Policy (Faulty products)

All goods sold by Get Outdoor is subject to the manufacturers warranty policies and terms and conditions.

Should you have a product that has failed during the warranty period, please contact us to begin the RMA process.

Customer Privacy policy

Get Outdoor shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569.

Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Mastercard, Visa, and EFT into the Get Outdoor bank account, the details of which will be provided on request. Payment can also be made in 3 easy payments by using Pay Just Now. An additional 5% will be added to the selling price when paying with Pay Just Now.

Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for Get Outdoor via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by Get Outdoor separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Variation

Get Outdoor may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Get Outdoor offers free delivery on all purchases over R 5,000.00.

Customers will still have the option of placing orders that fall below this qualifying value conditional on these orders clearly specifying a Delivery Charge of R 150.00 Incl. VAT.

All products presented are required to be assessed and approved by Garmin Southern Africa prior to replacement.

Get Outdoor will use best efforts to facilitate this process on behalf of customers.
